Easter

I've started selling some of my creations for Easter. I'm so flattered that people actually want to spend their hard earned money on something I've made!

Here are some earrings I came up with.

Half a Zombie

So this is something I am really proud of. I've just started crocheting my own creations and this is the first pattern I have written. I hope it's not too hard to understand.

Half a Zombie Key Chain Pattern:

Head:

To begin, chain 2

Rnd. 1: 6 sc in second chain from hook- 6

Rnd. 2: 2 sc in each sc around- 12

Rnd. 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc*- 18

Rnd. 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc* -24

Rnd. 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc*- 30

Rnd. 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc*- 36

At some point in line 7, attach pink yarn and do a few sc and change back to gray.

Do this in lines 8 and 9 as well. I did 5 pink sc in rnd. 7, 4 in rnd. 8, and 2 in rnd. 9

Rnd. 7 -11: sc in each sc around- 36

Rnd. 12: *sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc*- 30

Attach hair and key chain ring

Attach safety eyes between round 9 and 10

Rnd. 13: *sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc*- 24

Rnd. 14: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc*- 18

Sew in details; mouth and blood.

Rnd. 15: *sc2tog, sc in next sc*- 12

Rnd. 16-19: sc in each sc around- 12

Stuff the head

Rnd. 20: 2 sc in each sc around- 24

Rnd. 21: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc*- 30

Rnd. 22: Change to shirt color *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc*- 36

Rnd. 23: sc in each sc around- 36

Rnd. 24: Begin working on the arms. Sc in each of the next sc. Sc through both thicknesses. This creates an arm gap of 7 sc. 10 sc, sc through both thicknesses creating another arm gap. Sc in next 4 sc.

Rnd. 25-29: sc in each sc around- 18

Rnd. 30: This creates a slightly tattered look to the shirts bottom edge. Stitching once into each sc: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 dc. 1 hdc, 1 sc- 18

Rnd. 31: This creates a slightly tattered look to the shirts bottom edge. Stitching once into each sc: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 dc. 1 hdc, 1 sc- 18

Rnd. 32: Switching to skin tone 1 bphdc in each sc around. -18

Rnd. 33 and 34: sc in each sc around. -18

Rnd. 35 Change to blood color and bpc in each sc around. -18

Rnd. 36: *sc2tog, 1 sc* - 12

At this point I stuff the body I sew both sides together leaving tails of yarn (blood) and sew it closed.

Arms:

Rnd. 1: reattach the shirt color. 7 sc around- 7

Rnd 2: 7 sc around- 7

Change to skin tone

Rnd 3-8: sc in each sc around- 7

Rnd 9: sc2tog, sc in next sc until closed

For the second arm I just winged it. You can keep it whole or have a severed limb. Change to red and sc around- 7

My bone is about 12 chain stitches. I tied a knot at the end and sewed the arm shut securing the “bone” in place.
